Pack 12 Program
Pack 12 Program
During the academic year (approximately August thru May), Pack 12 typically gathers for two activities per month:
- Primary Activity -- camping trip, building project, or community service opportunity
- Secondary Activity -- local hike, bike ride, or game night
Regional Council
Pack 12 exists within the Golden Gate Area Council. We participate in events all around the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
Chartered Organization
Every Cub Scout Pack is sponsored by a chartered organization, often a church or school. Pack 12 is sponsored by the Japanese Council of Christian Churches in San Francisco.
Activities
Outdoor Adventure
Campouts and cookouts are quintessential Cub Scouting activities. Pack 12 fosters outdoorsmanship and appreciation for nature.
Community Service
Cub Scouting promotes service to our local communities. Pack 12 provides opportunities in understanding citizenship and helping others.
Skill & Rank Advancement
Scouting offers opportunities to achieve and be recognized. Pack 12 activities are structured to help Cub Scouts complete individual advancement requirements.

Cub Scouting Rank Advancement
Cub Scouting (grades K-5) continues into Scouting (ages 11-17). The pinnacle of this journey is the Eagle Scout rank.
